The Youth WINS Network helps young adults earn their high school diploma or GED, and connects them to post-secondary opportunities.

CUNY Fatherhood Academy Kingsborough

The Kingsborough Community College CUNY Fatherhood Academy (CFA) is a FREE and comprehensive program designed to promote responsible parenting and economic stability for unemployed and underemployed young fathers through education, employment and personal development.

Fathers or Expecting Fathers ages 18-30

Two tracks
- High School Equivalency (HSE) exam preparation serving fathers up to 30 years old. 

 - College Preparation program serving fathers up to 30 years old.

The Village

The Village on Staten Island offers A Chance In Life’s twist on the traditional drop-in youth center. A Chance In Life  helps prepare those individuals for a more promising, successful, and self-sufficient future. Programs include, but are not limited to: tutoring, ESL courses, college readiness training, recreational activities, meal packages, legal counseling, psychological support, financial literacy training, GED test prep and leadership development training.​

Young Adult Borough Center (YABC) @ Tottenville High School

In partnership with the NYC Department of Education, the Young Adult Borough Center (YABC), located at Tottenville High School, offers students in danger of dropping out a chance to make up their credits and earn a traditional high school diploma.

Youth ages 17.5 - 21 with a minimum of 17 credits

HSE/ABE PREPARATORY PROGRAM

This program is for those 18 years of age or older who wish to prepare for the GED/TASC Exam. Classes provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to take TASC Exam in order to receive their High School Equivalency diploma. Registration is ongoing .

Youth Impact engages youth across New York City and Newark to become transformative leaders in their communities and beyond. Members work in paid internships working to learn leadership skills, prevent youth involvement with the criminal legal system through peer-led diversion, and develop and pilot projects to create positive community impact.

LEARN & EARN PROGRAM

The Learn & Earn program  provides career and education guidance, work readiness skills development and tutoring to eligible high school Juniors and Seniors who make a commitment to participate in our services for up to three years. Students in their junior year develop their skill set and begin college exploration to prepare for the college application process the following school year.

The Train & Earn program provides contextualized career training, education guidance, work readiness skills development, internship, wrap around services for support, and a guaranteed job upon completion of the program. Our 58-week training program prepares people for a career in environmental services through classroom training, followed by a 6-week hands-on experience in a professional environment.

SYEP

The Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP),  is a six-week job program. This program allows our youth to get entry-level job experience that is crucial for gaining leverage in the workforce. Many desirable job positions require prior experience, so without employment programs like SYEP, youth struggle to experience the workplace, earn a paycheck and advance toward adulthood.
